Adris Rodriguez's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Experienced Adris Rodriguez (203-C-1988) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Capitanes and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 34-year old center recorded a triple-double of 15 points adding also twenty seven rebounds and ten assists, while his team beat Sameji (#3, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 121-109. It allowed Capitanes to consolidate first place in the Dominican Rep. LDC. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Capitanes won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Rodriguez just recently signed at Capitanes and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Rodriguez has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 20.0rpg and is league's best passer with 8.0apg. Rodriguez is in league's top in and averages solid 1.5bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward James Milton (203-F-1992) of second-ranked Immortals. Milton impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 37 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Immortals cruised to a 123-116 relatively comfortable win over Evolve OL (0-2). His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Milton is one of the most experienced players at Immortals and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.5ppg (#1). He also registered 11.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Capitanes' star - Rich Polanco (203-F-1997). Polanco showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, ten rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Capitanes, helping his team with a 106-99 win against #2 ranked Evolve OL in a game of the week. Capitanes has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Polanco also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Polanco has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (6th best), rebounds with 9.0rpg (5th best) and assists with 7.0apg (2nd best).
